Okay I way behind in here but ahhhh I guess that is to be expected of a shabby mommy with little ones and chic chaos in my house! LOL I have to say I am more than thrilled that my friend Katyie and Kristie were not affected at all by Rita! Big whews!!!
To top off my fully busy schedule, I was asked by the project coordinator for our dd's private school to put together a themed basket for the auction coming up in which all the proceeds go to aide victims of Katrina. Sooo cool!!! Ahhh so I said yes because I am a total people pleaser at heart! LOL And then to pick a theme, which most of the cool themes were picked..so I put my brain together with a few other shabby mommies and came up with a "Shabby Baking" theme. I have been scouting the fleas here and finding some great yummy vintage stuff. It's gonna be vintage shabby pink and cherries! Ahh how cute!!! So I have found some awesome new kitchen utensils that are red! How cool is that!!!
And today another shabby mommy friend brought me this bag from Sur La Table with these darling red "thingies" in it...Oh and some cash to help with the project. But oh my word...how darling!!! This little red silpat rolling pin...mini of course...and red silpat mini muffin pan..Are these just way cute or what?? LOL I love them! They will be perfect!
Of course I have more and the basket is getting full!! LOL Got some adoreable red measuring cups, huge jars for cookie mix and cute ribbon with cherries!!! I think someone will really like this! Gosh I hope so! LOL
Oh and I have been reading Miss Heather's blog and now am hooked on PBK again and am going to order these adoreable stockings!!! The one with the little girl is just tooooo cute!!!! Soo, can't wait to get these!!!

Those stockings ARE adorable! I'm thinking they would make a cute Christmas gift. :)
