Well it's just friday morning and I am already totally ready to climb back into bed and sleep in tomorrow! LOL Hopefully! Saturday is the ONLY day I get to sleep in so we shall see if the kiddies let me! LOL
Meanwhile, I have a few things you have GOT to see!!!! First off, HOOOORAY that our sweet friend Amy finally has a blog! Oh soooooo stoked about that! Second, Gina Wina has the most amaaaaaaaaazing new goodies called Snippets. Seriously they are truly to die for amazing and the quality? Um I can't even rave enough about the quality of all of Gina's goods! Just yummy! She sent these over to us and literally in 30 minutes I scrapped this! A lift from this amazing scrapper. Her layout screamed LIFT and I was more than happy to go for it.
Everything I used is by Gina. Just awesome!!!!!
Wow what a busy and crazy week it's been. I only got two pages scrapped. I seriously think we need another digital scrapping slumber party soon! I have zillions of photos that need to be scrapped, printed and put into albums. :) Hopefully soon. I did this page using Heathers' Blooming Butterflies and I just love how it turned out. So simple but so darn cute! Heather is fabulous! And I love the simple style I am kinda leaning towards. I really need to go get my DSL camera! I have a check here waiting to go get one and even though my friend Shari has given me wise council on what camera to get, I still am sooo scared! LOL I know I'm just weird! LOL
Okay so my sweet friend Ronna does amazing video tutorials for Photoshop and digital scrapbooking. Seriously I know several of you who do not know how to do this but these tutorials are sooooo fun to watch and learn from. You can even subscribe to them through Podcasts. Really really amazing!!!!!! It's like going to a class but even more fascinating!
Soooo a few more things to rave! Then we are off to the store! OH joy! LOL A few things I have learned from my friend Shawneee and from reading her bloggie.....(1) Pilates and Yoga is cool- Um way cool! I have been doing this for two weeks now and the daily mommy stress is sooooo much lower than ever! I mean really mommy stress is so normal and when I think of my job at the advertising agency years before I had kids, wow. No stress! Not like this stress. So the exercise, running, jogging, yoga and more has been so great for me the past two weeks! Really really great! (2) Leaving food on your plate is a good thing! No not Martha Stewart here but really....getting up from the table and not being overstuffed is a seriously great feeling. My dh grew up having to finish everything on his plate and me living on the beach in Southern California, eating salads was our big rave. But leaving food on your plate is a satisfying reward! Knowing those extra calories will not be making their way to my hips is a great thing to know. (3) Combinging both number 1 and number 2 above (exercising and eating well) makes for the best sleep in the world! I can't remember when I slept this great before. I used to be so fit and active in college and then kids..well...zapped my energy and motivation for that! So for the past two weeks, I have put my head on my shabby pillow and did not move until 6am the next day! Okay this is just the best! It totaally has helped me get more rest! Just by excercising and leaving a few scraps on the plates! LOL Definitely worth a shot for no more stress right? LOL Thanks Miss Pea!
Soooo what are you all doing for Mother's Day? What gifts will you be giving your Shabby Mommies? I have a few thing in mind with some upcoming goodies you will love to see soon! But I'd love to hear your ideas on this!!!!!
And Sunday is our baby boys 2nd birthday! Soo I am off to look for gifts for him and order him his cake! Oh babies and cake! This should be fun!!! Oh and my cute little pink vanity with mirror is going bye bye! It's sold and is going in the cuuuutest salon! Seriously gonna miss that pink vanity but glad it's going to a good home! :) LOL I get sentimental on my furniture! LOL
Have a wonderful weekend!
Smooochies!
