Okay so let's get crafty! I mean the fastest craft..we are talking around 10 minutes at the most! Well you see first off, my sweet friend Michelle told me that TCP had daisy flip flops for lil girls. Okay sooo I headed off to that store right away and got our daughter the cuuutest daisy pink flip flops..I mean 2 pair for $5. Crazy but true. I got Josher's the little camo ones! tee hee
Soooo, I asked myself, "Why can't I get a pair of flower flip flops"! Well they don't have any that I truly love and think are just shabby enough for me! LOL Sooooo I decide to make my own! Seriously how easy is this! I went to my local Old Navy and got myself two pairs of cuute pink flip flops...seriously two pair for $5! We love that! And then went to my local craft store for two sweet pink flowers! To double assure myself that I was doing this correctly, I checked this site for the minor details. Sooooo after some hot glue and a few minutes, this is what I ended up with! Are they just cute or what? And are they just SHABBY or what? And oh my word they cost $3 for the pair! LOL Okay next stop is rhinestones! LOL Really my twin sent me some cuuute rhinestones that I may just glue on my other flip flops...also those cuuute BoBunny flowers with the buttons and gingham ribbon are cuute to! Might have to try those as well. And of course our daughter was jumping up and down saying "Mommy and I have matching sandals"! LOL And my hubby was kinda rolling his eyes teasing me that yet again, something new and shabby has entered our home! LOL Too fun!
And look at those cuuuute baby Crocs I got the kiddies! Well they aren't real crocs but soo similar! They are just yum!!!! And are the fonts I used on this title fantabulous or what? They are free! Yes, free! And you can find them right here.
Okay so if you have not gotten Gina's new yummies, then go grab them! I mean really they are just INSANELY fabulous!!!!!! And this was my easter page I did using it...oh and I made candy bar wrappers for our dd's dance teachers that she gave to them on Sunday...they LOVED these!!!! And I love getting photos of our kids with the sweet people who influence their lives as they journey through new and exciting ventures.
And before I go...must go to sleep now! LOL I have to share with you what my sweeeeet friend Lanne forwarded me...these sweet shabby cabinets! YUM!!! Okay all your inputs on the colors were sooo fabulous! I am seriously thinking blue might be nice..cool..perfect for summer...hmmm...tough choice! I seriously love pink and white and cream and sage and blue and UGHH!! LOL That white one in this photo is just marvelous!!!! Are these just fabulous? Lanne you are just AWESOME!!!! Thank you!!!!
Okay well I am off to shabby dreamland! LOL Hope you all had a fabulous holiday! And hope you all have one yummy and exciting week!!!!!
Smoochies!

OK...aren't you just the most creative little thing?! Toooooo completely fun. Snagged Liv some flower flops at TJ MAXX the other day....how fun would it be to match MY little diva?! You ROCK!!!!! BTW...here's a little tip....I use this glue when making my hair flowers. http://www.beaconcreates.com/cggem-tac.html It is the BEST~ water soluble when wet...but dries permanent. Works perfect for the bling. :)
Oh, and do you make house calls? Ever been to Utah? LOL Sooooo nervous to start shabbifying Liv's furniture. ACK!!! :)

Lovin it all Miss Jenn... as always. Well I don't have a daughter so I guess I better make myself some of those darling flipflops. OhOHOH I think I will get the stuff and make them with my niece. A fun project to do with Auntie Amy. And don't ya just love crocs? We live in the land of Crocs and have been wearing them but they really took off last summer and are everywhere now. We don't get as many funny looks anymore when we travel. LOL So comfy... wearing my pink ones now! And I am SO inspired now to paint and shabby up this old wardrobe of my greatgrandmothers. It is no fine furniture but just ripe for a makeover. Where did you find those awesoem cupboards??? Do tell.

OK, i am going to make some flipflops even though i have about 6 pair of pink flipflops already, but oh well. You cannot have too much pink footwear. LOVED those fonts....thanks for the link. I really like the idea of taking the picture of the children with their teacher. I've been wanting to do it all year, but felt like his teacher would think I'm ridiculous and I know that I am camera-happy, so I thought maybe it was just too much. Hey...i'm just going to do it anyway.
