Okay I did it....

But first you have to see how cute our daughter is enjoying her birthday cake! LOL

Nothing outrageous I promise! LOL But oh soooo sweet Heather Ann enabled me to find that reason to go ahead and purchase the DST Gold Membership! LOL I really wanted to all the time but just kept forgetting about it. And well the 12 kits you get...more than worth it and from some amazing friends of mine who are designers plus more incredible designers...of course that was an easy task to do! :) Totally look forward to all the fun and the first kit you can preview here.

Okay I remember awhile back my shabby twin posted about buying her son character shoes? LOL And how she really never did "appeal" to them..not saying they are ugly or anything..but I totally knew where she was coming from. Well when I had our daughter, I knew her room was solely going Shabby Chic! :) Okay done! Then with the two boys, of course I was going for Pottery Barn Kids bedding to match...since the boys share a room. And decked out with tons of antique finds like old red buckets, antique police cars and old fire trucks. But little Shabby Miss Jenn could not make up her mind as to what bedding set to choose! LOL

Yesterday I was feeling kinda bad that poor Joshie didn't have a nice bed set for their old antique beds. LOL Sooooo, while shoppping at our favorite store and found the last bed set for him. He died, was in love and of course to see a sweet little boy goo goo over a bed set, of course I got it for him. LOL Not that I don't like character bedding, I just realized that Pottery Barn bedding could wait a bit. And this sweet lil boy of ours slept so heavenly. It was soo cute! Here's what we got him. :)

ROFL!!!!!! Loooove Susan and her scraplift blog! And for me it definitely gets me out a rut! LOL

Just had to share!!!!! And to all my girlfriends moving and packing, etc...well we are still unpacking! LOL Off to go through boxes! Enjoy your weekend!

Sandy Shores....

Really do make the heart grow fonder. LOL Just the instant we drive up to the beach, instant relaxation. The kids LOVE it and play for hours. Such a treat to feel like we are on vacation every weekend. :)  I just have so many beach pictures and have little time to scrap them! LOL  Totally hilarious too that there is sand everywhere on my floors! LOL I guess the beach travels home  when you have three lil ones. LOL I am going sand hunting today to clean it all up. LOL

I just got this cuuuuute kit here .  Totally cute for boys I think. :)

So hopefully i can scrap a few today.

Since we moved, I have been hunting for nearby Shabby stores. Found a few that want to purchase some of my shabby goods! Sooooo excited about that. Totally should be fun and the owners are just the sweeeetest.

pillows, pillows, everywhere

So I just looove pillows! And I always have about thirty in my living room.  I just looove pillows too. My only thing is will they go with these leather sofas? LOL I might have to not go as white as normal..more dark pinks, brown, peaches and aquas.  But I definitely love pillows! LOL

And  this cuuuute bag totally reminded me of  Kristie  and especially her new Olivia kit. Loooove that kit!

Then Kim's cuute aprons made me remember that I had a gift certificate at this KILLER SHABBY STORE from my sweeeeetest girlfriend so I went a shopping and a hopping and ordered
this.

Okay off to chase three lil shabby babies. :) Smoochies.

I'm in trouble...

Because my lil guys have literally KILLED my furniture. LOL Well are in the process of finishing destroying them! LOL Oh and we are only talking about the sofa and antique loveseats! LOL So I am looking for some type of furniture that will endure 2 boys and their nasty habits! LOL

We have a leather ottoman...seriously I was never a Leather fan...but DH got it. And they have SCRATCHED this thing, drew on it, spilled water, milk, juice...you name it...So I was kinda thinking that rough aged leather furniture might be a good way to go! Something that if they scratch, won't show up too bad. Gosh...still don't know but I think leather might be better than any fabric! LOL

So I am just browsing away for now. Trying to see how this would go in my shabby chic home! LOL What type of Ashwell pillows would go okay with brown leather? Still don't know and I'd probably and eventually have to have pink or sage walls to bring in some flower stuff to go with! :) Not sure! LOL But here's what I saw so far that looks like it could endure the mini construction site we got going over at our cottage! LOL  If anyone has some roughed up leather furniture along with lil kiddies, please let me know how it endures the rough tough! LOL

   

our lil miss....

turned 7 last friday. She just had the bestest time. She wanted to go eat Salmon at this place .  LOL Totally hilarous because I just never liked Salmon! LOL My husband when he was an executive gourmet chef, used to smoke fresh Salmon...ick! LOL But Chayce LOOOOVES it! LOL So we took all three kiddies there and they had a blast. They had real live lobsters and one of the waiters pulled one out and let the kids pet it. LOL Pet a lobster? Oh yup. So Chayce and Matt pet one. Josh freaked and wanted nothing to do with it! LOL Poor guy. Quite an adventure and a long drive home.  Plus opening gifts and eating yummmy cake. :) So glad she had a great day!

The DDE Guest team and the regular DDE CT team have been doing tons of fun and exciting pages! Just fun! The girls are a blast!!!!! We did a Gina lift..picking a favorite and lifting it...I did this one....You can find Gina's page here .

Settling in...

nicely here and we are loving the difference between fast go go go living to take your time and relax type living. LOL Soooo different but truly are enjoying it. :)

I just had to share what miss awesome Heather has got going. She is such a sweet friend! Adore her! Amaaaaazing new kit at her site.  I just love it and had to scrap some more pool pics with it. :) Hope you are all taking TONS of pool pics of those kiddies! :)

It's been awhile...

...I know..LOL..but we moved..relocated....with 3 kids, a shabby daddy, scroungy cat and a huge shabby barn of stuff. LOL And we made it! LOL We are all done...half unpacked and sooo glad that is over. That was one huge roller coaster ride I surely don't wanna ride again!

And the kids...just HATED IT!!! LOL For weeks, days, their toys were packed...their house and rooms..just not the same...a huge truck full of their stuff. Just annoyed them so bad. So now that we are at home, their toys in their rooms, their furniture looking so cute, shabby, vintage antique for the boys...we are just relieved. So glad it's done. Today we took them swimming and I think their faces just so happy to be here having so much fun.

I have been scrapping lately just late at night to relax and unwind a bit. Totally works for that! I love it. I loved lifting this page from Susan..Memories ...she just ROCKS!!!!! All goodies from DDE .
