Ten Years...

And let me just say WOW about the incredible guy I married ten years ago today. Looking through our wedding album, I definitely remember how happy I was that day. But it might sound totally strange but I am just much more happier now that I ever was! This guy is truly amazing! I am compelled by all the wonderful things he does for me and our sweet babies! And the guy that I truly look up to! So today is such a great day around here!!!! I can't wait for our special dinner out tonight so I can just gaze into his blue eyes and tell him all the things I treasure about him! :)  Happy 10th beamster!!!! I love you more than ANYTHING!

First Day of Fall...

And already I am sooooo dying to go to ALL BROWN stuff! LOL I mean really, all this stuff is pretty much white, pink and khaki! Not that it's bad! I looove Shabby Chic furniture! To the max! LOL But as fall hits, I am just ready to get all cozy and warm in an orange and brown house! LOL Of course sipping one of these . 

SOooooo I was thinking, "does dark stuff really blend well with shabby chic"? Well you tell me! LOL I surely think so! Here's a few choice pieces I scoped out for, stuff I'd buy pretty darn quickly! Just have to make room for it! LOL But just soooo loving these warm touches of "chic" that would bring such a rich charm to our home and for certain give DH that masculine feel! Well the dark colors! LOL

And I think I have to have these dishes! LOL You can find them here at ZGALLERIE.  That store is so much fun to shop in!  Soooo rustic, charmy, italian

farmhouse feel! I loooooove that! I am all about "beat up" stuff! Especially that hand painted leather divider! Just coool!!!!!!!

Oh and the blog look....well I am no HTML girl, so the polka dots were hard for me to configure! :) So what I am trying hard to do, especially since we moved, is to "clear out" the mess in my life! LOL Well, the clutter! Gosh we really "downsized" the "shabby chic" stuff we had before we moved! I can't tell you how freeing that was! Some huge stuff went into the Shabby Chic store, some to the huge flea market (had a friend take it for me) and some stuff, well, was given away to new happy Shabby Chic owners! LOL Seriously, I am looooving the "clean" look and trust me, it's still SHABBY CHIC! Just less! More sophisticated and less "OMG her room looks like a flea market booth"! LOL No really, feels so good to have much less but appreciate it more!

And the kids are enjoying more space everywhere! So the blog, the store and the barn are getting nice clean makeovers! Simple, easy, refreshing......love it!!!!! Okay have some groooovy weekend fun!!!!!

It's been six days...

Since my last post and let me just tell you, having babies who get sick is noooo piece of cake! Chris and I were up most of the night last night...ughh!  LOL Plus only getting 6 hrs a night for the past month? Well, I still wouldn't trade it for a "real" job as my friend Jennifer and I giggle about but still, I love it! LOL Tired or not, wouldn't trade a thing here! Okay...sooo, I've been scrapping like mad! LOL And painting painting painting shabby chic furniture! :) AND, preparing for the new kinda winter lifestyle that is headed our way sometime soon! NOoo more shabby sandals for the winter as I got away with in California! Okay that just stinks! LOL Buuut, can I rave how totally CUUUTE winter apparel is now? When we lived in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, we really bundled up! This weekend I was able to go shopping for some cuuuute trendy winter boots and new shoes and socks! LOL What are those? I mean really, pedicures were a normal routine for me during the winters in California! But, I think I would gladly trade in pedicured toes for SNOW PICS to scrap! Those talented digital artists really come out with the cuuuutest winter and holiday kits! So it makes for one fabulous trade off! LOL

And the past few days have been a huge success with our baby Matthew who is 2. Pottytraing...our last one...and he "GETS IT"! LOL So this has been a breeze so far! I won't cry when I don't have to buy diapers anymore! LOL Whew! I think we'll get a cake and have a huge party in our house! LOL

Okay have you see Wife Swap ? LOL Okay this episode is pretty crazy! LOL On both sides! tee hee! Hilarious and I don't think I'd ever participate in a show like this..not for all the money in the world! LOL It's definitely hilarious to watch!

Okay cuuuute shabby store right here.  I particularly LOOOVE these. Sooo cuuute!!!!

This morning, I checked a few things and saw this amazingly CUUUUUUTE thing you all have to get!!!!!!  OMG is this the cuuutest?

And OMG did someone say CUTENESS!!!? Isn't this AWESOME?  Need I say more! OKay off to shabby stuff!!!!! Smooochies!!!!!

Sugar Cookies...

Are YUMMY and SOOOOO are theses! OH MY WORD! I am sooo dying for real sugar cookies! LOL Thanks to Gina Wina!  LOL No honestly, are these to die for? And a gift? When you purchase her new kit....sooo perfect for school page? Just tooo good to be true! LOL Just awesome and I had tons of fun scrapping with this new kit! OMG! Okay here's the sugar cookies...just go get them  NOW! LOL

Some time to think and get inspired..

Well yesterday was a pretty emotional day. September 11th..just as if it were yesterday..just so sad! I will never forget that day.

It's amaazing when you get so inspired just from browsing in stores and such! :) I am just amazed at how the creative process starts just buy "looking"! :)  Just tons of stuff to have fun and look at!
How fun is Halloween! I go nuts every year! It really is crazy over here because  the kids usually dress up 3-4x's for events! We have a huge Halloween festival we go to, a dress up parade in the park, school, a smaller Halloween party and the actual trick or treating! LOL It's fun! They definitely don't mind dressing up that much but I have to make sure their costumes are comfortable and not itchy! LOL And that we have them before stores run out! LOL

So I already have two out of three costumes here and set to go! :) Last year Josh wanted to be Mr. Incredible but then he decided on a pumpkin costume. So this year, he's got this..already hanging in his closet! LOL

And Chayce's costume arrived yesterday! :) She loves it and was so happy to pick this one out. With the wings .   

So the other day all three of our kiddies were outside playing. And they found a little friend! LOL I was thinking of Bugs Life..LOL..but he was really cool and he let me snap a few of him! :)

Okay soooo I got my huge shipment of felt bags from Plum Party and OHH MY SHABBY WORDNESS...they are even more cuter in person than on the site!!!!!! I just loooooove this one! :) They make perfect gift bags and other goodies!!!!

And I had to share this hilarious picture of our baby Matthew! Loooving this long ride to the park on his tricycle...totally hilarious in his huge Mater helmet! LOL OH but he loooved it and he just loves to go on long adventures! LOL

Ahhhhhh.....

Yesterday was our dd's soccer practice! She is just loving soccer..our little goof! :) And where we moved, there are lots of homes with land all around. So we walked the boys around while she practiced. And saw a sweet girl with her horse and one day old baby! :) Ahhh isn't he cuute! He really was sooo sweet!!! The kids loooved seeing that. Something we wouldn't see just casually walking around the big city we moved from! LOL I love it!

I had to scrap some pics of our mattiekins playing in the grass. :) I used everything from  here. :)
