Lil birthday boy....

LOOOOVED his birthday! Of course it's so much fun spoiling him but isn't that one of the best reasons being a parent? I just LOOOVE that! Okay soooo, he opened more presents today and just had a blast! Here's a few of our sweet event for him. Thank you sooo much for all those sweet wishes and emails!!!!!

At this point, life is absooolutely NUTS! I mean NUTS! Trying to get organized, scheduled...and yes it's not working the way I need it to...YET! WE will get this down! LOL
It's hard going from staying up til 2 or 3 in the am then switching to going to bed at 9pm and getting up at 6am! I know...I probably sound like a baby but trying to find the "time" to get those regular things done is still a challenge for me. But I do appreciate the getting more quality family time in! That is what I am grateful for.

Sooooo, my awesomest friend Gina Wina has these FANTASTICALLY CHIC new papers and alpha! And had to do a quick but simple page. I seriously LOVE Simple Scrapbooks magazines...just because I get so inspired by the simplicity of pages. And yet they look so well put together. So I definitely enjoy a quick simple page now and then and well with her newest goodies, of course they make any page and picture POP!!!!

Happy Birthday Bubby.....

Today Joshua turned 4!!!!! Holy COW! Time really totally FLIES! It's just not fair! I want my chubbins back! LOL Anyways, the party has just begun. For breakfast he wanted waffles with whipped cream and chocolate chips! Oh yeah he knows what's good! LOL  With his little 4 candle of course! We called him bubby cuz my dear friend Jenn called her little guy that and it just stuck with me!

But check this out...four years ago today as my sweet hubby and I were overjoyed meeting our first son, two other sweet little beings came into the world as well! Shabby Mommy Twin's Alaina and Olive Juice's Olivia! How fun! See, now I wish we all lived closer to celebrate three little birthdays together. :) Cute! Happy Birthday to Alaina and Olivia.

Sooooo, sweet hubby works early...so he gave Josher's a birthday kiss before he left and left a sweeeeeet note on the fridge for him! Ahh...melts my heart! Sooo darling! What a coool daddy! 

Okay have TONS of stuff to get to today! Once sissy and daddy get home, HUGE festivities for Joshers. But mommy is definitely going to have fun with him today! I think he wants to paint our cat pink! ROFL! Hey that's one creative baby! We'll see how things fly today but for now, happy living and scrapping and eating and playing!

Will try to get some more amazing shots of bubby today ripping open his gifts and diving into his Incredible's cake! LOL OH and soooo stoked..ordered another lens! Yipppeee!

Lil Chunkster...

Okay...well...I worked on a project for another site yesterday...and was sorting through baby pics! And then had to grab this one of our Lil Chunkster! OMG time is sooooo not nice! LOL It just flies by.  Anyways, our lil dude is turning four in a few days...so I'm excited to celebrate it from now until then! LOL How much can you spoil your baby? Hmmm..I still say not enough! LOL Anyways, lots of fun things for him!

This looks like SOOO MUCH FUN! I don't think I'll be able to go...but hopefully next year. I'm sure for those of you who are going, it's going to be LOADS of fun! I can't even imagine! I am just in awe of all the gettogethers you all are planning! That will be SO MUCH FUN and I can't wait to see pics you all get of that!

Pony Time...

Ahhhh....well yesterday was full of fun! Playdates with  new lil friends that have a pony! Mattiecakes just looooved the pony! :) Anyways, little did I know that Josh and Mattie's new friend's mommy is great great friends with Heather!  I know! Small world. Anyways, when my friend B gets her 45 bolts of Heather Bailey fabric, I will go take a shot and show you all! YUMMMMMMEEEEE!!!!! Actually I might have to get my sewing machine out of the shabby barn, where it's been since Josh was 6 mos old...yikes..and actually start to sew again! Will that make me Shabby Miss Hollie Hobbie? LOL

This is my favorite picture...well any picture like it! I am more than incredibly blessed to be married to the most incredible daddy and hubby!!!!! Man..this picture just melts my heart! It also confirms to me why I do what I do.  I had one INCREDIBLY FUN interview yesterday with 2 amaaaazing girls! And just by their questions they asked me, I learned even more about myself and goals, etc. Isn't that just odd? I'm sitting there answering questions and almost like redefining my life! LOL Anyways, it was cool...WAY cool! Anyways, I hope you are all finding your day to be full of JOY! Cuz that's what it's all about!!!!! Smoochies!

SUNDAY YUMMY SUNDAY!

How was your Sunday? Ours was AWESOME! Relaxing truly! SOooo after our morning festivities, we headed out to some fabulous Shabby Chic Antique stores! YUMMY! I grew up going to these...since about 8. My parents always took us to antique stores and markets to find truly beautiful treasures to take home. So today I shot some of my favorite finds!

1. Every morning I have to drink my coffee in my Shabby Chic Sweet cup...no other cup will do! LOL

2. I have to have my teeth brushed and flossed after almost any meal...I hate dirty teeth!

3. Some of my best friends, from a mommy board online....we were all pregnant and due at the same time. We have been friends for almost 5 years and most of us have never met!

4. I'm hopelessly addicted to digital scrapbooking, painting shabby chic furnishings and photography in a serious way! LOL

5. I NEVER get tired of playdates! I could have one everyday and never get tired of my friends and their kids!

6. I get totally annoyed when my cute hubby trims his beard and leaves all these tiny hairs all over the sink! HATE THAT! LOL

7.  My kids and I ALWAYS do the "Lady and the Tramp" thing with our spaghetti at dinner...One of them will eat one end and I will eat the other one until we get close and kiss! :) Started with our dd who LOOVES that movie and the boys love to do it too! :)

And I am sooo good at this! LOL Seriously, I am getting asked for business cards...and um..I don't have any! What's up with that? Really I just cannot make up my mind! Soooooo, I need some input from my favorite shabby girleees out there! What would you envision seeing a "SMJ Designs" business card looking like? I mean type? Graphics? Sweetie? Simple? None of the above? I seriously have no clue. I even debated on just using this....as the card with the web address. Hmmmmm....okay I'd love to hear ANY idea!!!!! Thank you!
