Happy Birthday Matthew

Wow time just flies! It's sooo fast too! Our little baby turned 3 this morning!!! I just cannot believe it because it was just yesterday he was born..well it seems to me! LOL  We celebrated yesterday with our family. That was fun and he just loved opening presents! He loves his new little Razor junior scooter too! :) Tonight we are celebrating with some friends too! Just having a great time getting together. But wow..happy birthday lil man! I just loooove how cuute kids are on their birthdays! Such a huge blessing to be apart of!

On Friday, several of my girlfriends and I got together at my friend's house. She is really good friends with HB and is partner with her mom. Anyways, she sells Heather's incredible fabric on her site. OMG! IN her craft room, there was about 40+ bolts of HB Fabric! Keep in mind, I have sewn all my life but stopped when Josh was born. Just got too busy for it. Okay! I am soo pulling out my machine and doing something! WE all decided we are soooo going to sew something! I'm thinking a purse or huge flea duffle bag or something? I was thinking pillow but eh, maybe not just yet. Something I can throw my binders, organizers, doodle pads in...to haul to the beach all summer. Something! LOL My girlfriend can really sew some sweet quilts! And with this fabric, how shabby would that be? OMG! Just too cuute! But I  am going to do something! But.....my only dilemma....what patterns to pick? OMG I could have used every single one! The colors are pretty radical! Sooo, in the meantime, I'll keep deciding! But I loove the creative-ness of these girls! We totally inspire each other and are soooo on fire to create things! Whatever that means and even if that's a sandcastle, just creating something feels soo good.  Fills that void and keeps you "non-bored". :) I love it!

Well thanks for letting me rave a few! :) Off to play with my birthday boy!

Where's Jenn?

ROFL at Ashley girl! You are so cute! I'm here..just sooo busy...with life, etc. This morning I took all three kidlets to the kiddy dentist. OMG the kiddy dentist is a cutie! LOL But sooo nice and charming to our lil ones. They were happy to let him look in their mouths and clean their teeth. No yelling please, this was Josh' 1st trip ever to the dentist. LOL I know. But he was always a fighter at any doctor. So I felt I needed to wait. But since he was a baby, we've been brushing, floss, fluoride-ing him and today..NO CAVITIES! Soooo thrilled for that! He enjoyed watching bug's life while they cleaned his teeth and gave him xrays.

Chayce...this was her 2nd time. No cavities either! But..we have to go to the orthodontist because she's a thumb sucker. Gotta get her to stop and I have no idea how. I did it when I was little too. But she did sooo groovy! So proud of her. Perfectly beautiful teeth that we will plan on straightening in the future.

Matt?? Well he's almost three..yikes..and this was his 2nd time. His first time...remember? I don't even want to go there! LOL That was a nightmare and a half. But...he really did great for a 2 year old. And got his teeth cleaned and brushed with fluoride. NO CAVITIES either! Soooo, I really am one proud mom! I mean I am so anal about brushing, flossing and flouriding them every night and brushing daily. So I am soo happy today! Here's a quick scrap! I for sure didn't even want to take the huge Canon 30d with me! LOL I snapped a few with my small camera and was chasing them around the whole time so notice the blurries? LOL

Soooo, wanted to bloggie about AI! What a coool performance and I just LOVED jordan! Just LOOOVED her!!!!

And have got to get some more work done! I have a super fun thing I'm doing tomorrow with two of my favorite girls. And of course that means a play date for the boys too! I will definitely be taking TONS of pics of that! And tomorrow night.....drum roll please...Date night! OMG it's been forever! Too long! LOL Dh and I like to try to date night if not once a week, every other week. I live and breathe for date nights cuz I just adore my dude soooo much and love chatting with him over a nice dinner. Soooo I'm totally looking forward to that! Sweetness right there!

But...totally hope you all are doing grooovy! TY for all the chats, emails, etc! I loooove them all and love all of you! If I answer them way late, soooo apologize for that! Just so busy here!

Just because it's fun to play around with your photos! I just took some unusual shots yesterday and threw several TRA's on them. LOOVIN' the Rusty Cage one and the Grainstorm! Really cool stuff and SO WORTH the $$ for them!

Still recovering from the weekend over here! LOL It was a wild one for sure! I am a pretty not so nice wife keeping my hubby up til midnight..just watching some tube and goofin' off. Not soo good since he's a 5am riser! I know! I have to make sure to get us both to bed at a decent time!

I grew up wearing these shoes! LOL Literally we used to draw all over them too during class. In different colored ball point pens! Pretty fun! Anyways, we were shopping yesterday and Chaycey spotted these...and we got them! Can you say blast to the past? LOL Just cool!

What a FABULOUS weekend!

And I soooo hope you all had a great one too! Got TONS done! I was able to hit a huge Rummage sale at a Catholic church and oh boy! Totally LOADED up! Gosh Catholics are soooo awesome! We also had a HUGE and we are talking huge get together with our group of close friends....11 kids total. Yeah it was quite loud but definitely FUN!!!! The kids had such a radical time!

Isn't he cuuute? LOL He came out of his room with his snow hat on..and mind you no SNOW here! LOL And I had to snap a few! This kid of ours just TOTALLY cracks us up! I think there is pretty much NEVER a dull moment at my shabby cottage! LOL

Everytime I look at their pictures, I truly think about what better angles I can try to get my photos better.  What better lighting, lenses, ways to take the subject, everything..Anytime I look at their blog, I'm totally thinking..analyzing...it's all good!

(2) Living Dreams My incredibly close friend Jennifer...I met this girl a few years back and every single time we talk, chat, email, it's just like she is right here with me. She is my friend for life. One amazing girl and I've learned so much from her. Everytime I read her blog, really anything she writes, I'm constantly thinking about what I can do to make life, me better. She has a BEAUTIFUL way that she writes and talks. And I'm just soo attracted to her incredible zest for life and enjoying it regardless of what new things come into play. I love her blog!

(3) Olive Juice  Just because this awesome friend of mine is soooo totally creative..with anything! Seriously LOOOVE looking at her bloggie pics, looove her photographs, looove seeing her newest and latest sewing projects and well she's sweeter than candy! Looove her blog and it totally inspires me!!!

(4) Tara Whitney  Because this girl photographs like a MAGICIAN!!!!! Seriously, I think I drool nearly every time I check out her latest photographs! Always getting me to think "outside the box". Love that!

(5) Asher Benjamin  This blog really makes me think. It also makes me pray...hope...encourage and everything else. It has completely changed me and I really look up to steph in all that she does and how incredible of a mommy she really is.

Holy Cow!

Yesterday I went to the dentist! Because let's face it you HAVE to go every 6 mos-edited to add for your routine cleanings! I love to keep mine sparkly white! :) And it was more like 8 mos for me. And this was a totally new dentist to me. Since we moved. I was fretting sooo bad! But..she was one fabulous dentist. Young...which translates to me as "up to date with the latest practices" and very very nice! Two cavities to take care of and one is an itty bitty one. :) Yeah! I never like to go to any clinical office. Even when I was pregnant back to back with the boys, the OB and her staff considered me family. Still...never made it FUN for me! LOL The bestest part was delivering babies, not staying in the hospital long and racing home to enjoy a new cute life all to myself! LOL Anyways, that is over for now! Whew! Sooo glad. But, baby Matt decided that jumping and playing on mommy's bad from 2am on was a good idea. Well not for me..I'm toast! LOL But have lots to do and get done today! First things...getting the boys down for a napppy pooh! LOL

Soooo, about those RAD actions! Here is one of little miss mommy...LOL...with an Old Skool HQ action. LOVE IT! Really really fun!!!!! And I just took an old shabby brush to it at the end. :)

Suuuuper tired....

From all the fun yesterday brought...but that's normal right? LOL The kids hunted for their baskets right when they got up. They were sooo excited to find them too! The first thing Josh ripped into was his chocolate bunny and it was half gone before we even got ready to go to church! LOL Silly dude!

Then we had our close friends over for lunch and an Easter egg hunt! That was fun! The kids looved that! Used their huge TJ bags to load up! LOL Chris is his buddy hid all the eggs so I totally loved the egg hidden in the shoe! LOL They were teasing the kids saying their were eggs on the roof..LOL..and some had $20's in them too! Yeah they totally got revved up!!! It was so much fun though! Perfect perfect weather! 

And I made some awesome orange chicken!! We grilled these and made sandwiches with them! OMG they were goooood! Soo wanted to share the recipe with you all! Feel free to snag it!:)
