Happy Good Friday!

And wow what a great Friday it is! Such a huge reason to celebrate! Anyways, just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter! Last night after dinner, we ran by this store to pick up some last minute easter candy! LOL
I think I went overboard too! OH well! Anyways, as I was walking down the aisles, spotted these adorable pink shabby cups! OMG! Had to grab them! Aren't they cute! Certainly perfect for talking shabby with my girlfriends! LOL

Also, LOOOVE this magazine-Cottage Style! And had to snap a few to show you just how dh and I view different decorating styles! LOL I'm sitting there looking through this magazine and shabby daddy is like "yeah I  like that" and "nooo I don't like that".  Our styles are so different. But I'd say they are both pretty tasteful! So I had to share with you some pictures of what he likes and what I like! But I think in the end, we both will make a compromise. And choose a semi-shabby-retro-old-vintage-antique-dark kinda look! LOL I seriously think my cute hubby could go for this retro look..but more so in a basement, coffee shop or a den. Some place for him to  invite his buds over for pool or something.

OMG so sorry I didn't tell you "what" store! LOL They came from Target~ and they were 30% off and they had matching salad plates, dinner plates and bowls and all those had scalloped edges! CUUUUTE!!!!

It's been awhile....

Okay! Have one request! Please throw out some good recipe ideas! Having a big Easter thing on Sunday and need to start preppping! :) Something fun and easy!

Our backyard is looking soooo fab! The lawn is so green and bushy! I am telling our Gardner to skip the backyard for our easter egg hunt. Better to hide eggs in thick grass than short golf grass right? LOL

OMG! Last night we bbq'd! Looove the grill stuff.  And we used our small grill...with charcoals..because after you bbq, you can let your kids toast marshmallows! Seriously, it's soo fun and our kiddies just love it! So they make some 'schmo's' as josh calls them! And the nice gooey marshmallows got in their hair too! Gotta love that experience! LOL Anyways, if you don't have one, grab a small bbq just for smor'in. It's so much fun!

Spring Shabbies!!!

I am totally getting excited for Easter. Can you tell? LOL OMG! Everything here is from DDE, SP, HAD and SMJ! Oh and the sweet frames are by awesome Nancy!  I looooove these dooooodles! Aren't they just cuuuute?

Last friday, I met up with sweet friend and her kiddies at the park for a shabby playdate. And...........drum roll please....I got sunburned! UGHHH!!!!! Soooo forgot to put on sunscreen...so I felt like such a dork! Three hours in the sun and it was a tad hazy and I just totally forgot about it. Yup...nice little pink cheeks on me! Saturday, it wasn't that bad but friday night I was feeling a tad nauseous and I really hate that. But I did get my sunscreen out and am now using it religiously! LOL  Okay back to the playdate..my friend was on a business trip in PDX (that is short for Portland, OR)..I always write that since I lived there for several years. Anyways, she got these adooorable Tuk shoes for her dd! And I just looove them! Are they just soo cuute?  And I saw these at the site for Josh! OMG! Ducky from Pretty in Pink! I'm dying here!!!! 

Sooo excited about Susie Q's next lift..it's this sweet chickeee friend of mine!!!!! The lift is right here if you want to participate. :) I think I will since I'm on her team! Can't win anything but hey that's still fun! :)

OMG and sooo saw these today and had to nab them! DH and I are HUGE coffee drinkers! Looove coffee...lattes...everything! And I had to grab these cuute coffee doodles! :)  YUM! Makes for one cute shabby coffee cup! LOL  K Well I am off to drink down my own coffee!!!!!! Smoochies and happy Monday to you all!!!!
