Boooo hooooo

Okay come here me whine a bit....Out of everything that happens in life, the fact that time flies so quick really saddens me some times. I mean, let me freeze time, just for a little while, and I will be so happy. Just realizing another year is almost done, makes me realize our three little babies are another year grown. Of course this is great news for what they have accomplished and what goals they have reached. But for this sappy mommy, I still want to bundle up our newborns...hear them waking up at night....change their diapers...all that fun stuff. Little did I realize way back when just how quickly time flies.

Last night was Josh' last tball game. :) And it was sweeter than candy to me. Chayce still have a few more weeks of her softball and she is just shining. School is almost over and next year will be a whole new year. I am excited about summer though. We selfishly get them all to ourselves. LOL So anyways, not really whining but kinda. Here's a few pics to share. And look at the shining gold trophy! LOL Josh was tickled to get this last night! :)

BTW Miss Jacque Larsen sent me these incredible hand made clips! Are these just adorable or what? Okay go check her out here. She is a bundle of sweetness and her clips are amazing! Anyone with little girls, go grab a few. They are sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! :) TY miss jacque! Love ya girl!

Wow...long time no bloggie...but hope you all had wonderful Memorial Day weekends to those that celebrated it. :) OMG our quilts are almost done! They are looking so radical! I'm dumbfounded I actually did this! LOL Betheroo helped with the binding and I'm almost done..just need to add some more flowers. :)

Sooo, how cool is this? In the airport, they had an Ipod Vending machine? For real? I looove this! How practical. I love my ipod and to see this was just cool. :)

Here is Chayce modeling her best and sweetest smile....And then...the highlight of our day today...my favorite day..the day I get to help out in Josh' class....he giggled as his teacher painted his feet to make prints on the floor......:) Happy Day!

Well, after getting soooooooooooooooooooooo many emails about how to do this, we've decided to add in full instructions to the new Shabby Blog packs. So full instructions including screenshots for both typepad and blogger are now in the blog kits. AND, OMG, the AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING Kayla L---ie the Legacy Lady---has created a fabulous VIDEO TUTORIAL on how to install one of these on an actual blog! Seriously the girl is amazing and you have to check out her site for more awesome video tutorials. :)  Also totally glad David Cook won last night!

Okay on a sad note...as we were driving to school this morning, we heard of the terrible sad news about Steven Curtis Chapman's dd. My heart is breaking for this family. Truly if you can say a prayer or think a thought for him and his family, I know they would be grateful.

Playdate in Australia....

Okay so Josh's little buddy in Australia asked him to have a video pirate playdate. :) Hilarious and totally cute. Lanne's little budy Lochie and Josh chatted via video yesterday....each of them first decked out in pirate gear...then they moved on and changed costumes...shared toys...showed artwork...chatted...hilariously cute!!!! Here's a few screenshots...HA! A tad fuzzy I know..but Josh LOVED this...he really enjoyed this little guy on the other side of the planet....

what I wanted to do for our wedding..but Chris really wanted a church wedding so he won out on that. But....maybe a 2nd wedding? This might be so much fun! Hmmm....might be fun to fly friends and family to a tropical place...say Maui?  This photographer is amazing!

Feeling hungry?

If so, then Joshua has made the perfect snack for you all. :) Isn't he just a cutie? He's always doing stuff like this and bringing to me and then we sit and play. Usually I have a box full of fun vintage stuff I find sitting in my living room.  And so he found these old wooden dishes made in the Philippines. Remember these? Like I can remember going to my parents friend's house for dinner and seeing these wooden dishes filled with peanuts and mints and things. And now you can practically find them anywhere. Josh seems to think they make great play snack dishes and trays. I am beginning to think they do too. Kinda vintage and sweet right?
Okay so back to our quilts. I finally finished my flowers and yoyo's. I think I need faux bifocals so I really feel like the little old lady sewing in the chair while her husband sits and watches baseball or movies on the tube at night.  These were the fun part. Just sitting, relaxing, and going nuts with how to embellish these. Fun to choose tons of different buttons, stitches, colors, fabrics, etc. I think I'm just now starting to visualize what I want my sewing projects to look like before I start them. That is good news. It's hard not knowing where to go on something and then doing it and hating it later. So, I'm tickled with how these turned out. I think Chayce was eyeing these..maybe for a cute top for her? Or on a pillow? Something. She is good at eyeing things she likes.

Can I say for the record that church rummage sales just rock? Must be all those holy people donating fun vintage finds and being so generous. I don't know but I usually find awesome things at them. And I found these. I love this pillow. Funky wild green velvet..Hmm...maybe add some cute new tassels? Might look cute on Chayce's bed. And then lo and behold, I didn't even look on the bottom of these until I got home. Sterling silver. Pretty and so sweet. I think the water pitcher will make a great vase for summer flowers? Hmm..nice excuse to go buy bouquets at the Farmers Market. :) My mom saw these and told me to keep them for sure. So, I will. Everyone needs a nice sterling vase full of flowers in their living room right?

Okay hope you all had a fun NSD day! :) I barely had time to shop around but managed to pick these up. Cute stuff here and here and today, OMG, for all you mommies with baby pirates...go get these!!!!! If you look at Mindy's blog, there's even a discount. Holy moly..these are the cuuuutest little sweet pirates! Josh was smiling at these this morning. Can't wait to make some cute pirate pages with my baby pirate. Lanne, aren't these cute?  :) Til then, happy day to you all!
