Just a quick break in work to post...Summer is going by too fast it seems. School is around the corner..well we still have a month but I'm trying to make every day 'summerfied' by going everywhere we can. The kids have swimming lessons and other fun things they do everyday. And it's so funny and please tell me if your kids are the same but just the 'summer go go fun' gets them so worn out. See Matthew below. Saturday he just crashed on the floor. :) Our little cutie pie. But swim lessons are going so well. I think Josh is ready for the high dive..but I'm not ready for him to do that! LOL Anyways, will be posting later this week again so stay tuned...hope you are all doing fabulous!!!!
But I hope you are all having fabulous summers! :) We're pretty much on the go-go-go...with the weekends spent at the water or outside somewhere...and now swimming lessons are here. :) Anyways, this weekend, Josh wore his pirate hat. LOL Crazy kid! HE loves imaging himself to be anything. Anyways, everyone who walked by him commented on his 'kewl' pirate hat. One lady who was walking with her little boy said in spanish "pirata"...totally cracked me up. I had to scrap these pics using Mindy's cute pirate kit! :)

Sooooooooooooooo, a week or so ago, we all went to my fabric friend's (Beth, Liz, Betharoo, the Bethinator, Elizabeth, fabric chick-so many names for her-lol) house and up in her sewing room, I was inspired to make something! A pin cushion! A Blog FREEBIE pincushion! See when you are in a room amongst hundreds of bolts of beautiful fabric, you just can't just sit there and gab. I have to do something with my hands...LOL So if we aren't quilting or stitching something, we're making something else. So I made this fun little shabby pincushion! Seriously..my mom has ALWAYS been an EXCELLENT seamstress...Me? I rush...I make mistakes and hide them. I'm just impatient. So I gave my mom this MOST ADORABLE Sandi Henderson fabric to whip out a cute top for Chayce. Of course my mom claims that sewing for her is so therapeutic. That makes sense since the entire time I did this quilt, I was pretty relaxed. :) Anyways, I just have her 6 fat quarters of this Waterlilies fabric. And this is how it turned out..is this just too cute? :)

Yesterday was HOT here! So we took the little guys swimming while chayce got pampered at gma's house. :)

I have to be totally honest. Mac blogs are so much fun to make! And
kinda easier than typepad and blogger..but here's the catch..you have
to have a Mac computer and Ilife or IWeb. But my mac came with those so
no worries. But this blog was so much fun to make! Basically all you do is drag the images...in .png file format...and just click a hyperlink to each. I was able to rotate the buttons, shadow them, change the fonts, colors, etc..I mean WAY more easy to just create on the actual blog!!! I used the new Nature Guide blog pack....fun! The AMAZING Kristi wrote an awesome tutorial too for Mac blog users. ;) She ROCKS! Anyways, I hope that you Mac people are encouraged to try it. SO this morning, I found this picture of Mattie looking at one of his birthday balloons! And guess who I thought of? Yes you Lanne! LOL This seems like a photo you would naturally take! So a few effects later, here it is. :) Kinda odd but definitely neat I think. :) Anyways, just had to share. Okay I think the swimming pool sounds like a good thing right now. :) Hope you all have a fabulous day!
