It's beginning to look alot like Halloween!

And I just love how crazy our lives has gotten. Here's some pics of our decorations.

We've had a few playdates and we made these cute wooden 'frankies' the other day. Just too fun. Easy peasy too!

This weekend we had a Halloween Party to go to. :) Okay here's my question for all you mommies out there. Have you ever felt "outdone" by another mommy? I mean in a good way of course. But seriously, we went to Mattie's friends house for this Halloween Party...which Chris kept saying looked like a huge, oversized playdate..LOL But when we got there, I kinda was like "WOWSERS". This mommy has got it together. :) She had tons of different activity stations..almost like at a preschool...they had all awesome kiddie food and yummy stuff for adults. There was a pumpkin carving station, slime station, book listening station, eating place, kids were playing soccer, on slides, making cupcakes, some were at drawing and painting stations and a fun craft station where we filled gloves with candy corn and popcorn to look like spooky hands. :) I have to say that I adore this mommy! :) She's just the cat's meow. But I did go away thinking, "Wow, I should do this and this and this at home". LOL She truly had it all together and I soooo admired that. I'm working hard on being more organized and we are definitely getting there. But I just loved how this mommy thought and how she threw this big party together. :) Just wondered if you all had kinda similar experiences. :) The fun picture of the hands with rings is Josh and his friend Lucy from preschool last year. That boy can get any little girl to play pirates too! LOL It's just so cute. :)

I finally found some baskets I liked....that came with really sweet black and tan paisley liners. I definitely listened to your many comments saying "dark wicker". :) I think it looks sweet now. Totally helps in organizing stuff too.  One basket has office supplies, one has puzzles, one is empty and one has paper and crayons.  And once our dining room set gets painted black, it will blend in nicely.  But so far...do you all like? :) It was fun trying to figure out what to put inside...I thought the baby punkin's were a fun idea...and candy corn too! Kinda like grandma's old cabinet..well at least my grandma. She always had a glass dish of pretty candy in her cabinet. That must explain my several trips to the dentist while growing up. But I think maybe changing it around for xmas will be fun too. :) Can you just tell I love holidays? Hope you all have one grooovy weekend. xoxo

My arm hurts...

because yesterday I took the kiddies and we all got flu shots. Gosh I forgot what getting shots was like.  Anyways, no worries...we celebrated the shots with Dairy Queen!  That made it all better. We had that horrid 2-week flu last winter and I am determined NOT to get that again. Literally all of us were out for 2 weeks. Awful. 

Soooo, just wanted to share a few new pics. Amongst the chaos and clutter, we are making sure we are keeping up with our annual traditions. So far, we've done the punkin' festival and punkin' patch. :) So much fun! 

Here's a few shots...  Of course they had a blast of a time. And these rounded corner blog frames by Lanne make blogging so quick!  Okay back to workie for me...Mattie's loving these new Ispy computer games I got them. The ISpy Spooky Mansion is just awesome for this time of the year. The kids LOVE the ISpy books and the computer games are just as fun!

Laughing over here...

...just at how crazy my life has become lately. As you can see I've been a little busy bee online.  Well pretty much since summer but even more so since school started for the little ones of ours. I always remembered my sweet friend Denise in California telling me that once our kids reached this age, life would become very busy. :) Well here is the day when it's starting. And I know it will be getting much more crazier too! LOL Oh and we're moving...and they have soccer..and did I  mention Chris is coaching their soccer team too? And I help out in school when I can and if I keep going on and on I'll totally bore you all! And Lanne can pretty much identify since she's moving the same time we are as well..Kinda nice to have a moving buddy! LOL Even if she is in Australia. :) Anywho's, the best news of the day is that there are TONS of NEW Shabby Goodies at the shoppe! All on sale and there's a special goodie included when you purchase the new Hoot Hoot kit. Limited time offer only...so definitely hurry on that one. And my dear sweet friend Lanne has done it! :) I have BEGGED night and day for these...literally she kinda tells me to stop asking..but finally my friends...you all can get her amazing ROUNDED corner frames. I mean to die for amazing and you will absolutely LOVE these! :) Even an action to go along with. Wowsers! :) And did I mention that I absolutely LOVE my team? They continually amaze me with their amazing scrap talent...I mean these pages just look so REAL to me...and I know you will LOVE looking at their pages and discovering new ways to digi scrapping. :) FUN!!! Okay so here's all the images to glare at. :) For sure go check out the new SWEET TREATS! ...THE LILYPAD that is! :) Wow such a HUGE honor to be over there this month as a guest designer! I just LOVE those girls over there. :) They rock so much! :) I remember beginning to digital scrap with Amy Martin...she runs that pad over there and she's just the bestest! :) Such a fabulous honor to play with her over there. :) Okay sooooooooooooooo, here's the goodies I created for the OCT byoc over there. Digi Shop Talk...

Okay girls..you all posted some FABULOUS ideas! Truly! I'm so grateful! I think I am going to measure the bottom shelves and go hunt for some dark wicker baskets. :) And then go to town with this cabinet. :) I will post pics once I am done with it. :) TY again!!!
