Just a few pictures..

to share...our t-ball and softball season has started. Of course this is so much fun but again means mommy and daddy's schedule gets collided with other things. :) Gotta love that though. Anyone else feeling the craziness too? It's always fun though to catch up with other mommies and see how they are doing.  

In the meanwhile, mommy and daddy are busy making changes to our house. We are painting the inside a rich warm brown color. Chris installed our new faucet. I love it.  We needed that spray nozzle.  I just love those! Fun to squirt kids across the room with too! LOL (J/K) 

We are also getting new grass put in.  Chris ripped out the dead stuff yesterday! See I used Sheye's Eyecandy actions to make this look even more 'honeyized' outside! LOL 

I can't wait to get new green stuff! :) Should be nice.  Anyways, that's pretty much all that's going on over here. :) I hope you are all having a great one! :)

...the photography diva rides again...

...and I realized...I DID NOT TAKE enough pictures this summer! LOL Too much time playing and enjoying all the fun activities. Oh well. I guess I'll haul my big camera everywhere now again. I am SICK with a bad cold..ick! No fun and yet working and driving kids all over town...so apparently it's not the flu or anything. But I wanted to share with you what the AMAZING Lanne has done! Yet again she rocked another action. I know she made one for super miss shari b and sent me one as well! All I did was hit "play" in Photoshop and my pictures got this awesome rounded corner with logo popped on them! So I just sat here enjoying my diet coke and wallah...instant ready to go blog photo. Amazing eh? She showed me Shari's...it is way cute too. But wowness! I love this girl. She just rocks these tools and makes my life so much easier.

Lanne's AWESOME new TEXTURES that are in the shoppe! I swear I can't get enough of her action that comes with them! Even with any texture. It simply ROCKS and makes this go so much faster! :) We took the kiddies to a carnival the other day. :) They loved the rides...so funny to hear them giggle on every one! :) Here's how I played with them! The first one was made using Lanne's Mirror Mirror Pack! :)

Finally feelin' better..

Wow! That was about 2 weeks of being so sick! I've never been that sick in my whole life. Not even when I had the chix pox in high school. Turns out all five of us got that nasty Flu!!! The one that lasts a few weeks. It was so narley! Thankfully the doctor gave us antibiotics to help us all out. And even though I still sound like I'm a smoker (Lol..sooo not) I'm feeling much better. Whew!
Anyways, before we all got sick, we visited this awesome place in the middle of nowhere. My favorite place we visited when I was little. It's called 'cowboy town' by the kids. And a fun place to catch up on some history. Here's a few pics. If you kinda wonder why most of the alphas at the shoppe are westerny, then this might explain why. Have a super weekend!

Cuckooo!

Oh my! I hate chickens! LOL And I hate kitchen clocks! Don't ask my why. I just don't like them! LOL And this morning when the boys and I hit a few shoppes, Matt saw this clock. And kept saying"Mommy, that's a Cuckoo clock". I'm like "not really Mattie but it's a chicken".  Anyways, we were in the store for awhile. Matt kept going back to this watching the pendulum swing back and forth. He became more and more intrigued watching it and kept commenting on how neat it was. And mommy is such a softy...it came home with us. It's in the kitchen where Mattie can see it all the time and for sure he has commented on this new Cuckoo clock near the dining room table where we eat all our meals. LOL I mean seriously, how could I NOT get it? LOL

Just also wanted to share a few things the QUEENS have done at the site.

Also, Amaaaaazing Kayla has a KILLER new video tutorial! OMG! She just ROCKS at explaining this confusing stuff! I tell ya I might try one myself but again might confuse you all! LOL I have taught my girlfriends here and in California and I still don't think they get it! LOL See how bad I am. But Kayla..TOOO AWESOME for words! Love this girl! And she is fabulous at teaching! So go lookie here!!!!! Check out her blog and upcoming classes in Utah!

K soooo hoping to scoot and go hit a few more shoppes! Am taking out the Shabby in Chic in my office space sooooo, hoping to find some new inspiration around! Re-decorating work space? Sooo much fun! Have a great weekend!

Let the addiction begin!

Thanks to Sarah and Gina...now I LOOOVE these!  And I got this to keep them warm and toasty and yummy!
Seriously, I rarely light candles but this was perfect! And wow the shabby cottage smells so warm and cozy!

Okay so WHEW! Thank you so much for your sweet emails and comments and posts about this new kit.  I had no idea that the time I released it, that paypal would be totally down! I'm SOOO SORRY and was sooo bummed so many of you had to wait. Thankfully, adding the Google Checkout really helped and you all managed to grab the kit. But today, hooooray, paypal is back up and running and all is fine. Whew! I hate when these things happen..really..barely slept since I really had no idea what to do. And while on the phone with Paypal and E-Junkie, I was so glad to know it was 100% Paypal error. So, glad that's over! :) Truly the people over at E-Junkie totally rule! Robin is the most intelligent developer I have ever talked to. And if any of you have the need to sell something, anything, on a blog or whatever, go run to them and use their service. It just ROCKS!

Today was a FULL day for us. We headed to the local Pumpkin Festival. The kids had so much fun picking out pumpkins, petting  mini ponies, getting faces painted and more. They really love this kinda thing. And then after wards, we attended our first Civil War Re-enactment. WOW! Chayce was whining saying "this is not going to be fun". LOL Once we got there and saw everyone in uniform, she was kinda wowed. And then seeing the horses, the flags and listening to what these people said about our history, was really cool. All three of them loved this! And of course had to get a pic of a cute little dude solder with his bayonet.

So today we got to travel to my favorite store ever...THIS ONE!  My baby stopped working a few days ago! UGHH! Hate when things just DIE! And these computers don't really die that often. So I take it in and the Magic Man takes a look at it. Tries a few things on it...nothing. I sit there at the Genius Counter thinking I am leaving it here at the computer hospital so it can be repaired with love and attention.  And while I was looking around drooling at these and these, the magic man reappeared telling me that my baby works perfectly now. Come to find out...Little Miss Shabby had reinstalled her extra ram incorrectly. WHAT? LOL I followed the directions completely. But....did not PUSH IT IN hard enough to snap it into place! Soooo, thus my baby wouldn't turn on. Crazy me! Next time I order more RAM, I'm taking it in for the magic men to do it. Now it works perfect again! Hoooray!

Then it was off to shop here, here and here.  THIS is one RADICAL store! Chris LOVED it. He loves to fish and tie his own flies..so this store really rocked for him. Then before we left we made a coffee run here for a Pumpkin Spice Latte and Caramel Machiatto! Whoa Deann! :)

You all can laugh at my photos...

...Cuz we were playing around with the camera this weekend. :) I snapped the 50mm back on for some fun. Wow it makes it light. :) Anyways, who would have thought you couldn't take a pic of yourself with this lens? LOL Ahhh ha! Just playing! Besides having a small lens on for now means a lighter load in my hand.  Have a great day guys!

Just because it's fun to play around with your photos! I just took some unusual shots yesterday and threw several TRA's on them. LOOVIN' the Rusty Cage one and the Grainstorm! Really cool stuff and SO WORTH the $$ for them!

Still recovering from the weekend over here! LOL It was a wild one for sure! I am a pretty not so nice wife keeping my hubby up til midnight..just watching some tube and goofin' off. Not soo good since he's a 5am riser! I know! I have to make sure to get us both to bed at a decent time!

I grew up wearing these shoes! LOL Literally we used to draw all over them too during class. In different colored ball point pens! Pretty fun! Anyways, we were shopping yesterday and Chaycey spotted these...and we got them! Can you say blast to the past? LOL Just cool!

OMG and I soooo think it is going to be a GLORIOUS one! I really want to head out and snap a few this weekend. ;) Better take a bag of M'n'M's so I can bribe a few smiles!

Can't rave enough about these awesome actions! And I am challenging myself to go through each and every action and show you the before/after versions. Here's one of Josh yesterday. I used the Technicolor Dream World. Fun! Just hoping to really learn these even more.

Then I was also thinking of doing "photo of the day". Just to get out there and practice more. But..should I use flikr like Lauren does? Or just do them here on my blog in a photo album? Not sure! If you all have an opinion, I'd love to hear it! :)

feedback and a new phone..

Soo, just got back! We walked to school today! I seriously love the exercise, fresh air, making the boys get so worn out that they nap early today! LOL Looove it!

Okay sooooo, here's some shots I took yesterday and today! Can you see? No snow? And Matt's topless? Yup! It's hot here! Woo hooo! And the entire town is outside in shorts! LOL No seriously, this is awesome! Now we can move the play dates to the park! LOL

Anyways, here's some pics! I would LOVE to hear some feedback on these? Are they okay? Are they "Groooovy" or are they GRAAVY? LOL Seriously! I did a few things to them but not much! But am just trying to "play" more with this camera! It is major fun to play! Not stress about it and just find new things to try! Anyways, don't worry! I won't bite! :)

And  for sooooo long, my cell phone has worked fine! But not the best! And I kept putting  off upgrading it.  And I seriously HATE cell phones...I don't even want to learn the settings on it and all that jazz. LOL DH is the geek of cell phones! Sooo he ordered this sweet Shabby Strawberry Phone for me. It was totally FREE too since I hadn't upgraded! LOL  We love free! And I love that I can get videos and music on it! Good idea when one of the Shabby Babies throws a fit in a store! LOL But really, I got it today and am totally stoked Chris ordered it for me! :) It's sweet! And he got the Black Chocolate one! :) Neato! Now he rocks for this and he's doing all my contacts for me too! LOL

Okay, and about AI! Still loving Chris and Blake and LOOVE Melinda!!!! WOW!!!!
