cuuute hats!

THANK YOU to everyone for all your sweeeeet emails! I sooo appreciate it! Just quickly wanted to share how cuuute our "CCC" hats turned out! OMG! I love these and they just turned out fabulous! Gotta love that cafepress. I woke up this morning reading a few fun toot toots so that was fun! And Matt got the flu too. SO this past weekend was no fun. But I think he's better now so WHEW! When babies get sick and we are talking fluish sick, it is soooo not fun and I really get sad seeing them so miserable! But thankfully, I think it's over! Just wanna stay away from our friend's lil kids so they don't get sick. Anywho's, I have tons more to bloggie but will try to blog alot this week! :) And hopefully I won't bore you! Okay so if you have some fun girleee friends around, group them up, do some crafty thing and make a name and buy hats! :) LOL Seriously they are soooo cute and the tanks are cuute too! I think we'll be buying more soon!

quilting is fun...

I have not quilted for soo long it's not even funny! Sooooo, the CCC girls...we have started ours! These are going to be so cute! Basically one of the girls cut and the rest of us sewed the strips into squares! Then we are turning then diagonally and cutting! Just so fun and how easy! LOL I got to use my friends Bernina..oh man! How nice!!!!! So, we got several squares done...at some yummy blueberry banana bread and had fun chitting and chatting! It's getting really hard finding time to work now! LOL But I am staying up later to make up for it! LOL I think for all of us to have our own quilt, we'll be sewing squares for 10 Fridays...cuz we meet every Friday..but since summer is here..maybe we could do 2 days a week! Because these quilts will be for our play dates at the park, beach, etc. :)

Some Sewing Fun....

Okay first off..this weekend I hit a huge rummage sale and got this adorable vintage petite sewing basket! How cuuute! And it was full of trinkets and treasures~I seriously always loved looking through my mom's vintage sewing basket...looking at all the old buttons, trims, pins, etc. That was so fun. So looking in this was really fun too!

How hilarious is this? We have a fun creative group of girls and we love to do something creative once a week. Okay ....so we are creative..and yet cannot think of a name to call ourselves! ROFL! I know! That's just messed up! LOL Sooooo, we need your help!! We need you all to help us come up with a name.  And once we find the name we like, the winner will get a $20 gift card to SMJ designs PLUS a goody bag of Heather Bailey's Freshcut Fabric! Yup! What a fun prize huh? Just because we are lacking creativity in the 'name' part! LOL I'm still cracking up at this! But hey it's your gain if we choose the name you suggest! Some Crafting Time!!!

Oh my goodness! First off thank you to everyone who came by yesterday and snatched the Cabana kit and lil trinkies! Um..my server went bazerrrko and so did my cart with all that traffic! LOL Um sorry! I left the sales up til early this am so hopefully you were all able to grab them! :) And THANK YOU! Ya'll who scrap with that Cabana kit, please show me! I rarely have time these days to cruise galleries..I know..pathetic..and I sooo wanna see your pages...So please email me and show me! :) TY TY!

Okay lots to jab about here so bear with me. If I go off on other things...well that's just me...and lack of sleep from playing all weekend and having fun! LOL  I almost slept through a sermon this am and well that would not have gone over well! LOL Buuuuuttt...totally have tons to talk about so here we go!

First off, here's the bloggie pic of the day! LOL MY sweet twin always says, while reading other people's bloggies, you just gotta look at something! LOL So here's something to look at...and it's pretty! LOL I used some of my stuff, some of Jen W's awesome goodies, frames by Nancy of course and alpha by Miss Gina Wina herself! LOL

Okay so bear with me while I talk some baloney to you all! It's good baloney..don't fret! LOL

First off....today we shopped a little! My first pair of RocketDog shoes! OMG Love them! Sooo comfy, totally hip and sooo comfy with no socks! LOVE THAT! Chris got a pair too..in the dude's section! Aren't these just cute or what!!!

Second...I loove coffee! Loove Starbucks! Little did I know that moving to a country town, there'd be cowboys on all the local cafe's cups! LOL For real! Isn't he one handsome cowboy? LOL Looove the small town coffee shops here! They rock and omg their sugar free berry muffins are my ultimate favorite!

Third...Friday morning, the girls came over to my shabby casa! What fun! The fabric crazy friend of mine brought all these patterns of HB fabric! OMG! I was drooling over them all cuz they are just soo cute!  She also brought over these INCREDIBLE sew-free quilt projects! Perfect for dipping my toes back into sewing! Remember...the past four years I put sewing on hold...I know I have forgotten stuff! LOL

Soooo, Fridays are our Creative Queen time...we are a group of really close friends and have yet to come up with a name! We are thinking we need tshirts or hats or something! Anyways, Fridays are the days we play...and our kids play too! And we do a lunch at whoever's house we are at! Sooooo this past friday, the fabric crazy girl brought these over to play with! OMG! Making a quilt block....and with HB fabric..AND no Sewing! My heart skipped several beats to even dream I could make something cute without sewing it! This fabulous company is where the quilting blocks came from! And my oh my....these were fun! I loved the pinwheel one the best! You basically stencil your pattern, score with a ruler and start tucking in your fabric pieces! I probably could have done this blindfolded..but seriously..is this just cuute or what! All HB freshcut fabric! And it's sooo going in Chayce's room on her wall! I might have to do one again too!

So seriously...to all of you who are crafty..and I'm assuming most since digital scrapbooking is such a sweet crafty hobby...get several of your favorite girls together, get some of these or any project and just sit and enjoy each other. It's amazing  how when you get together with sweet girlfriends, your kids enjoying their kids, how incredibly relaxing it is..how much more fun to connect with them while your kids are having a blast. Really really fun! I know I am soooo teaching them how to digital scrapbook! I know they wanna know..even though it can be so confusing to learn..but hey that's what friends are for!

Well lookie over here at this Shabby Bloggie! HOLY COWNESS!!!!! Isn't this just soooo totally cuuute? My dear sweet wonderful and amaaazing friend Kimmy knitted this adooorable pink shabby purse....for PRINCESS size! As sooon as she got home, I handed her the package...and immediately she put her pet Flamingo in it! LOL Seriously, the girl LOVES her animals so this little pink purse is soooo perfect for them! Anyways, thank you KIMMY! Love ya girl! Okay now everyone who is reading this, GO lookie at her cuuuute Bloggie! I seriously think she should open a store...but if you want something, get on her WAITING list! It is soooooo worth it!  My goodness..isn't this just sooooo Yummy Chic? Ahhh..I love it..and am always keeping it hanging in her room just cuz it's soooo Shabby Chic!!!!

Run....don't walk....

To your local Target and go to their dollar section in front.  The awesome scrapper Miss Kim hinted that in the dollar section at Target were 8" x 8" scrapbook albums.  Oh my word! For one dollar! No way! So today I headed out and life is just soo crazy lately I really shouldn't hve gone but I am soo glad i did.  I did get a few of those albums but also bought all these red and white star 5" x 7" albums. :) Love them! Great gift ideas and I can get tons of scraps printed quick at this place.  Awesome!

And then of course, who couldn't resist buying their princess a pair of pink Popsicle flip flops! Yup in the dollar section! Just too cool! Okay go run and get these! Us digital scrapping girls know a good deal when we see one!!!!!

Mother's Day Crafts and lil sick one...

Well this was the worst past three days of my life! At least so far this year! I honestly HATE HATE it when babies get sick! And this was just no fun! Saturday night, our baby Matthew developed the stomach bug! Really no fun. And it lasted up until this morning! So the tummy bug, fever, achies and just plain no fun! Especially since Sunday was his 2nd birthday! (sigh)! So that little party got postponed probably until this next weekend. Not sure yet. But I am back to myself again finally! I really just am no fun when my babies are sick. It's such a heart breaking thing to watch! But we saw the pediatrician this morning and no fever so we think he's getting back on track! Hooray! That and he's drinking and eating again! :) Whew! Hopefully I will be able to get caught up on sleep again soon. :) 

And happy birthday to my Shabby Mommy Twin's little babe Caleb! :) Right near Matt's birthday as well! See this is just too weird! LOL She's just the cuuutest really!

On Saturday, we had a tball game! Just too cute! And then I attempted my Mother's Day album. WOW! I seriously am just NOT GOOD with paper stuff! But this was sooooo easy and fun! You get this fabulous kit and pop your photos behind. Then add text and print. I assembled mine onto an accordion book and inked the edges. Then added a bow and charm to the front. Just fun! I really and honestly did not know what I was doing and really went on Kristie's example found here. But truly this was really fun! I hope to get more into this soon as well and especially more into the paper scrapping goodies as well! :)

And I can't rave enough of this kit found at Scrapartist. Just fun and yummy, great colors! LOL at our dd's missing teeth! This is just all too fun! Have a great day everyone! :)
