Well I hope all you shabby sweeties are having a wonderful and definitely yummy valentines day! :) Dh came home tonight with a dozen red roses just to begin this great festivity! He is just the bestest! I love this man! He never quits and is always up to something new:) *(Yup Miss Shabby Happy he is the bestest)*
Sooo this will be one pretty long blog. LOL This last week has been totally crazy and I have not only painted and delivered shabby chic, but also have scrapped shabby chic as well! LOL SO where do I start? Okay the shabby chic scrappin! LOL My sweetums friend Miss K invited me to her sweet shabby artist team. And since there were no set page requirement, well that could easily fit into my schedule. :) Soooo with her most brilliant kit called "Flea Market", I had to scrap one of my most favorite flea market finds! My antique aqua watering can from France! No not at a flea market in France-LOL-I wish and someday that will happen:)-but one found from a dealer who solely brings garden treasures from France to the US! Love this dude! Soooo the watering can is my very very favorite find! :) Clients continually ask me to give this up for them at any price I choose. But my heart is stitched to this baby! :) Ahhh my favorite!

Okay and shabby pink drumroll please..................................LOL!!!!!! The vanity is now FINISHED! :) WHOO HOOO!!!!! I take waaaaaaaaay too long trying to figure out what color to paint something! LOL WE are talking way too long! LOL And after scrolling through the book of "Shabby Miss Jenn's Painting Techniques", I decided that the painting technique no. 167 was the perfect touch for this sweet vanity! Not only is it pink but it is soooo FRENCH RUSTIC PINK! Okay soooo chippy pink, tons of pretty appliques and to top it off, awesome black glass knobs! Now this mirror is quite shabadelic! Has TONS of the old crazing and black marks from age and wear. We LOVE these! They bring such charm to the piece! And not only is the mirror beveled and scalloped, the middle part has a clamp so you can swivel it up and back any which way you want. Tooo cool! Love these heritage pieces. Soo much fun to shabby and deck up! SO, this baby is sooo sweet! One of my very favorites! Soo hard to find room in the shabby barn for it and our lil princess has no more room in her own castle for it. Possibly going to try to find a home for this or make it's way in our lil cottage store. :) Too fun! Love the process here and yet I have another HUGE project in the works! Definitely need a few days before I hit this other new project though. WHEW!!! LOL

And it is sooo incredibly warm here lately! Just amazing and sooo much like summer! So I took several photos of our dd the other day outside! :) Of course in shorts and pink flip flops! LOL And used one of the pictures for her valentines treats for her class. :) We made cute pink heart cookie lollipops! Each one was pink and had a "C" on them. :) And tied with a cuuuute ribbon to match with the cuuuute lil girl tags! I think they turned out sooo cute! :) I am sure all her lil friends will love these! :) I actually bought the ribbons first and realized that Kristie's Sweet Sprinkles kit matched it perfectly! Love that!!! Okay here it is! :)

OH and just how cuuute is this? My sweeeet dh took our lil princess to a the Father Daughter Valentines Dance! How sweet is that? And he bought her her first corsage! AhhH!!! What a guy!!!! SOooo sweet! This is the thing that makes any mommy's heart melt!

Okay it is getting late here and I have a huge Kindergarten Valentines Party to go to tomorrow! LOL Soooo, I am hitting the shabby bed! But before I forget, the Shabby Shoppe has it's huge re-grand opening! Make you sure you go nab all those fab new kits! YUM!!!!!! And here is one of my favorite pages using Heather's yummy new kit! Just too fab!!!!!

Have a wonderful Valentines!!!!
Smoooochies!
