...to my sweetest kitty! He was 15 years old and I just loved this cat to pieces. It's so hard when you lose a pet. They are just like family. Honestly I never liked cats! I always had beagles. But this cat was SO DIFFERENT! He was the sweetest cat to me right when my dog passed away 15 years ago. It was almost like he took on her personality and for that he was just the best! I always thought that after having children, losing a pet might be a tad easier. But no way. I've just been so sad the past few days as I watched him slowly leaving us. And I know pets are not human. But still it hurts a lot. I will just miss seeing him sit in our window. I'll miss hearing him meow and crawl under my chair while I work. I'll miss seeing him cuddle up on the kids' bed and fall asleep with them. This cat has been with me for so long. From breaking up with boyfriends, to meeting Chris, getting married, moving all over different states, having babies and having the kids just love him. My dad helped me bury him today on their property. It's just hard for me since he was with me so long! If you have lost pets, I know how sad it is. Honestly they are just not pets but little friends that make your days a little brighter!! To my darling kitty, I will always miss you and never forget you!!!! Thank you for making our lives that much sweeter!!
on Saturday? This was a fun summery day! :) And so I had to scrap it. :) We met some friends at a parade and then went to her house for lunch. Fun! And check out the new stuff she got. It was drool on fabric day. LOL
But as you can see we haven't been around the house lately. Gosh with school ending, field trips, softball, tball, graduations, trips, hiking, fishing, etc...I guess I'm thrilled summer's here! We live where thousands of people vacation so I feel like summer is our eternal vacation. The kids did their fishing derby again..OMG ..so much fun! Chayce caught her fish all by herself. Go girl. Then on a nice long day hike..the kids were begging us to carry them back they were so tired. But that was awesome! A great time and we'll be doing this more often. Soooooooooooooooooooo, stay tuned for some more bloggie posts....some new surprises and just some fun. Oh btw has anyone seen this movie? Today was swimming day...I was thinking of taking them to see this tomorrow....:) Muah!
So last night, got caught up on Lost. Wow! Just wow! Chris loves that show but we lost track when we decided to take a 3 month break from tv. It's all good. So now we have to get caught up! Also, this show just CRACKED me up! So much drama but seriously, I couldn't stop laughing! And what a great idea they came up with for Crocs!
Well, have loads to do today, this weekend, birthday fun, all that jazz. But wanted to leave you with this ..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
going on here! LOL NO seriously, love ya Shar! Ty for your post. I am swamped here but for sure have enjoyed it. Hope you are all doing well. Here's how our Saturday went. Very exciting eh? LOL No really...I got up early Saturday morning and made fresh cranberry scones. Yum! I rarely do this so it was a fun thing to surprise Chris with. They were pretty scrumptious too!
So after breakfast we headed up to the snow. Notice no pics? I didn't haul my huge camera with me this time. Was kinda nice too. But had a pretty rad time. It had snowed 4 feet so we were having fun getting stuck as we climbed the mountain. It was pretty funny but Mattie did not like it. LOL
Then we had to get home in time to watch the Greenbay Seattle football game. Trust me my hubby is a Greenbay Diehard fan. Loooves this team. So it was fun to watch. Especially when it snowed! And hooray..they won! Rock on Greenbay!
And while the game was on, the kids were having fun with their xmas toys. Josh copied the cover of this awesome toy and I was totally shocked because the picture is at an angle so kinda hard to make out what pieces went where. And he did it. So proud of him. :) K back to fun and lil princess is heading home soon with daddy so wanna be 'computer free' when she walks in the door!
Just had a few quick things to share. First off..today is Pajama Day at preschool! My heart was melting at how cuuuute Joshy was going to school in his camo jammies and santa hat! They told him to bring a stuffed animal. He took his stuffed Buzz Lightyear! Ahhhh! Anyways, here's a quick shot of him making tinker toy projects with marshmallows and toothpicks. Clever! OH and another fun little rave! My sweet girls over at DTR featured the Tree Trimmin' Party kit! Ahhhh! How sweet! Anyways, there show is awesome, hilarious, inspiring, makes you want to spend $ and more! Fun thing to listen to while you clean house! LOL
From a week of little sleep! LOL Well maybe not a week but several days! Soooo looking forward to a good night sleep again! And a good movie! Soooo, few things to share with you all here!
First of all..the big secret revealed..SITE IS REVAMPED! NO more pink! Why? Cuz SMJ has lost her 'umph' for pink! I mean when I first started doing this, the 3 (this, this and this) main kits I started off with had pink in them. But do I really have that pink flair? I think no! :) Not that it's bad but it's just not me really! Sooooo, go take a peek here! And let me know what ya think! :)
So who loves Xmas music? I do! LOL And Chris told me to go here and listen to this! I love vintage classic holiday music! It is so much fun to listen to! Anyways, we listened to this type of music sat night after we went to the little town Xmas parade! Gosh that was fun! Freezin' your buns off while you watched a parade of lights! Oh and the hot eggnog lattes helped keep us warm! :)
Sooo, we took all your advice! And got a dvd album set! Man oh man life has gotten so much easier and ORGANIZED! I wished we would have done this alot earlier! :) THANK YOU!
Speaking of no more pink, totally wish I had the before shot of this piece of furniture. Basically it was an awesome old shabby peachy pink...really looked cool. And the bottom doors had Rachel Ashwell fabric popped behind them. Very pretty! But I sent it to my dad's farm. And now it's back. Looking so FRENCH CHIC! I love it. Black with old shabby white peeking through. The bottom doors now have glass behind them. And now just to choose which hardware to add to the doors? Tough choice! What do ya think? :) They are all antique hardware..pretty cool.
Feels kinds nice to let go of some pink stuff. Of course Chayce's room will be decked out pink as long as she'll let me! LOL
Speaking of Xmas, I had the 3 kiddies pose so I could try to snap a few for the Xmas card this year. I loooved this one! So cute! Those KILLER actions really are awesome!
